On June 10, Amankan Kenzhebaev, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Osh Region, held a meeting with residents of the Salam-Alik Rural Municipality in the Uzgen District.

The meeting was organized in accordance with an instruction from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. During the event, the concerns and proposals of local residents were heard directly.

Residents raised issues related to road repairs and asphalt paving, the construction of protective dams, mudflow prevention, electricity supply interruptions, and improvements to the infrastructure of the new residential area.

Other matters discussed included the construction of a kitchen for the kindergarten, the provision of an ambulance, the construction of a sports hall and stadium, issues concerning coal quarries, tourism development, and the work of the local municipal administration.

Funding totalling 4.2 million soms was approved from the Development Fund to address some of the issues raised. Of this amount, 3 million soms will be allocated for paving a road in the new residential area, while 1.2 million soms will be used for dam and canal construction.

The local municipal administration will begin developing and implementing the relevant projects as soon as possible. The remaining issues were recorded in the meeting minutes, and appropriate instructions were issued to the responsible government and municipal authorities.
