Asphalt Pavement Laid on El-Dostugu Street in Ak-Terek Village

The Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic has completed asphalt paving works on El-Dostugu Street in Ak-Terek village, part of the Salam-Alik Rural Municipality.

The total length of the upgraded road section is 1.5 kilometres, and the estimated project cost is 10,800,000 soms. The newly paved road will improve the village’s internal transport infrastructure and provide more comfortable conditions for local residents.

The opening ceremony was attended by A. R. Duisheev, First Deputy Head of the Uzgen District State Administration and First Deputy Akim; Atantai Doolotovich Turdubaev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan; and Tariel Karimbekovich Keldibekov, Director of the Department of Land and Water Transport under the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Local residents also took part in the event and noted the importance of commissioning the new road for the community.

The paving of El-Dostugu Street will contribute to the development of village infrastructure, improve road safety and enhance the living conditions of local residents.
